Founded in Erbil by Suham Mustafa Hassan as an independent, non-profit, non-partisan NGO with a mandate spanning awareness, development and support.
EVE INITIATIVE was founded in Erbil in 2022 by Suham Mustafa Hassan, with a mandate spanning three pillars: awareness, development and support — building the civic, academic and digital infrastructure that turns talent into livelihood.
The founding mandate set the frame every later programme has grown from: expanding what people know, what they can do, and what they can build with it, without partisanship and without asking beneficiaries to pay for participation.
What began as a small, founder-financed effort has since grown into a standing network of more than 700 honorary specialist members and the flagship liiink platform.
